    Job Description

    What you will be doing:

    Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Team player to enhance the current sales effort by providing administrative support to the department
    • Individual, who enjoys generating leads and assisting in converting to sales, consistently makes cold calls
    • Aggressively pursue new accounts every week, spend minimal time in the office
    • Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients
    • Make onsite and field presentations to prospective clients, attend trade shows, and participate in sales blitzes
    • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
    • Attend all required briefings/ meetings as required by the DOS/ GM
    • Collects and analyzes relevant and accurate information for better results
    • Work effectively with Rooms, Recreation, F&B, and Banquet departments
    • Participate in the local community to develop business
    • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
    • Instill a calm, organized approach in all situations
    • Demonstrate team-building experience
    • Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action
    • Adhere to company standards and policies
    • Analyzing financial information to assist in decision-making
    • Prepare a sales action plan and implement it per the due dates specified
    • Ensure pro-activeness in planning, executing sales, and action plans
    • Due to the nature of the business, employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the business needs of the hotel
    • The employee may be required and agrees to perform additional duties as required by the volume of business and as assigned by his/ her superiors

     


    Qualifications

    Your experience and skills include:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
    • At least one (1) year of industry sales experience
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    • Possess good communication, leadership, and organizational skills
    • Have a good command of the English and Arabic language
