Are you enchanted by the magic of the holiday season and have a passion for creating dazzling light displays? We are seeking a skilled Lighting and Décor Specialist to join our team and bring festive joy to the community through the artistry of holiday lighting. As a Christmas Light Technician, you will be responsible for year-round upkeep, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Christmas light displays with precision and care. 

• Safely install and set up Christmas light displays according to design specifications.
• Ensure proper placement of lights on trees, buildings, and other structures.
• Responsible for making power runs for all Christmas lights.
• Oversee up to 4 crews installing displays across the property
• Become familiar with programs used across the event to control synchronized light shows, such as Light-O-Rama and Twinkly Pro
• Update programming to alter different aspects of each show
• Create new programs for future shows
• Identify and resolve any technical issues with Christmas lights promptly and efficiently.
• Possess a strong understanding of electrical systems to troubleshoot and repair lighting problems.
• Assist others to solve any issues that arise
• Comfortably work at elevated heights to install and maintain lights on tall structures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working at heights.
• Ensure all crews are adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
• Interact professionally with colleagues and address any concerns or questions regarding the Christmas light displays.
• Exhibit patience when troubleshooting issues and adaptability to changing project requirements.
• Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak holiday seasons.
• Safely break down all Christmas light displays and prepare for transportation back to off-site storage.
• Ensure everything is accounted for and oversee transportation.
• Inspect all displays throughout the off season and ensure all are in working order when it comes time to set again
• Make any corrections to fix displays, including but not limited to re-lamp, replacing garland, zip tie work, and replacing fuses

• Previous experience in Christmas light installation or a related field.
• Previous experience with programming or a related field.
• Previous experience leading a team of no less than 10 members.
• Comfortable working at heights and operating aerial lifts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with basic electrical systems.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Patience and attention to detail.
