Portfolio Financial Controller

Company Description

Reporting to the Portfolio General Manager, you will oversee the daily Financial operation of your home Hotel with the General Manager while also providing leadership and guidance to the wider CapitaLand Portfolio’s Financial Controllers.

The CapitaLand Portfolio encompasses 4 properties 6 hotels across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane


Job Description

KEY TASKS:

  • •Leading all Financial disciplines within the Portfolio.
  • •Management and development of the Financial HUB portfolio team.
  • •Preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasting.
  • •Developing and reviewing all financial systems.
  • •Regular and active engagement with General Managers and Owners.

Qualifications

  • You are a strategic thinker with proven experience in financial management
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation for payroll, tax, superannuation, long service leave  and compliance
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft programs, SUN system and Opera
  • A leadership style that is authentic and engaging
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
