Job Description

Are you a customer service enthusiast with a knack for multitasking? Fairmont Olympic Hotel, located in the heart of Seattle, is seeking a dynamic individual to join us in the role of a Full-Time Seasonal Phone Operator. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to be part of our iconic hospitality legacy.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Handle incoming calls, assist with inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate departments.
    • Consistently offering friendly, professional, and proactive guest service over the phone and through text messaging
    • Take ownership of each call, respond to requests and answer questions while providing exceptional service
    • Handle and distribute faxes, voice messages and written messages for internal and external guests
    • Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest's stay through amenities and services
    • Promote our loyalty program

    Qualifications

    • Service focused personality is essential and previous experience working in a guest-service position is preferred
    • Computer savvy and working proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred
    • Written, verbal, and comprehensive fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
    • Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
