Job Description

The Bheemili Resort - Managed by Accor, located in the beautiful coastal town of Bheemunipatnam, India, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our luxury resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational excellence across all departments.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize resort operations and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of department heads and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
  • Ensure compliance with Accor brand standards, local regulations, and health and safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue and occupancy rates
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve complex issues promptly and professionally
  • Implement and monitor quality control systems across all resort operations
  • Analyze performance metrics and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and business partners
  • Stay informed about industry trends and implement innovative practices to maintain a competitive edge

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel operations management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office suite
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations and management practices
  • Understanding of the local tourism industry and cultural nuances in Bheemunipatnam and surrounding areas
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Additional certifications in hospitality management are preferred
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
