Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta features 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded Sky Suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square-meter Grand Ballroom.
Hygiene Manager
Join our team at Fairmont Jakarta, a distinguished five-star hotel renowned for its commitment to luxury, excellence in service, and exceptional guest experiences. We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Manager to uphold our high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and operational efficiency in our food and beverage department.
As the Hygiene Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations and hygiene standards within our hotel's food and beverage outlets. You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas.
Employment will be under local contract. Open for Indonesian citizens only.

What you will be doing:
- Implement and maintain hygiene protocols and standards in accordance with local health regulations and hotel policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with purchasing to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Train and develop stewarding staff on hygiene practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to ensure smooth operation and support during service periods.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints related to cleanliness and hygiene promptly and professionally.
- Prepare reports and maintain records related to stewarding operations and hygiene compliance.
Your experience and skills include:
- Proven experience as a Stewarding Manager, Hygiene Manager, or similar role in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, sanitation regulations, and safe handling practices.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Food Safety, or related field preferred.
- Certification in food handling and hygiene practices is highly desirable.
