Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Relations Officer to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

  • Welcome and greet guests upon arrival, providing a warm and professional first impression
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively
  • Provide concierge services, including recommendations for local attractions, transportation assistance, and restaurant reservations
  • Serve as a liaison between guests and various hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance their stay
  • Maintain accurate guest records and preferences to personalize future visits
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures as needed
  • Coordinate special arrangements for VIP guests or those with specific requirements
  • Stay informed about hotel services, promotions, and local events to provide up-to-date information to guests
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of guest services and satisfaction levels

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in guest relations, front office, or hospitality (preferred)
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written; additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a guest-first approach
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and remain calm under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of local attractions and services in Doha, Qatar
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
