We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mysuru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various building systems and equipment, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our staff and guests.

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on diverse systems, including air-conditioning, electrical, refrigeration, and fire and life safety (FLS) equipment
• Conduct building maintenance tasks such as repairing furniture and fixtures, painting, and general repairs
• Maintain and troubleshoot kitchen and laundry equipment
• Perform plumbing and drainage repairs and maintenance
• Assist with low voltage (LV) system maintenance and guest room upkeep
• Collaborate with engineering management and team leaders to improve efficiency and implement safe work practices
• Communicate effectively about potential service disruptions and coordinate with relevant departments
• Continuously develop skills through training and hands-on experience
• Adhere to hotel and department policies and procedures at all times
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in general maintenance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
• Familiarity with fire and life safety equipment and procedures
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Basic computer skills for using maintenance management systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Valid driver's license may be required
