Job Description

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and motivating your team, ensuring they deliver professional, efficient and friendly service. Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining product knowledge of all items on the menu, including food and drinks, in order to advise and make recommendations to guests. Use every opportunity to maximise sales.
  • Serve food & beverage items with flair and professionalism according to company standards.
  • Ensure all service areas and equipment are kept clean and organised.
  • Ensure revenue for the shift is accurately accounted for, with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities.
  • Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.

Qualifications

  • A true ‘people person’ who is able to create connections with our guests and residents quickly.
  • Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant/bar environment beneficial.
  • You will have passion, and well-rounded knowledge of the latest food and wine trends.
  • Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
  • The flexibility and reliability to work late evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.
