Food & Beverage Attendant (Barista)

Mercure Perth is conveniently located in the heart of Perth city, with the major shopping, entertainment and nightlife areas all close by. The hotel features 239 well appointed rooms, along with a great restaurant, a cafe, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym. Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.

We are looking for a ‘guest obsessed’ passionate F&B Attendant / Barista who thinks outside the box and wants the opportunity to make our F&B outlets the heart & soul of our hotel.

In this role you will:

• Be the ‘face’ of our café, Cucina on Hay
• Welcome both in-house and external guests
• Provide consistent and high-quality service
• Be an active promoter of Cucina on Hay and assist in implementing ways to drive revenue within our food and beverage outlets
• Run breakfast service, and conferencing and events as required
• Bring flair, passion and charisma each and every day
• Be given the opportunity to have your say and bring new ideas to the team
• Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
• Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices.

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• An entrepreneurial style and drive for café-restaurant operations
• Experienced and passionate about making a good cup of coffee that keeps guests coming back
• Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
