Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a key member of our financial leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning to drive our organization's success.

  • Manage all aspects of the hotel's financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue and cost-efficiency
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Lead the budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
  • Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth and development
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Serve as a key liaison between finance, operations, and executive leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software systems
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and development
  • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Experience in implementing and improving financial processes and controls
