Duty Technician-Handy Person

Pullman & Mercure King George Square is a vibrant 438 room twin towered hotel which acts as a sanctuary for leisure and business travelers. Located opposite King George Square, City Hall and ideally situated in the heart of Brisbane CBD the hotel has some of the largest conference spaces in Brisbane incorporating 2 ballrooms. The hotel also features the amazing and extremely popular venues of Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Cafe, Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar as well as KG Bar and an Executive Lounge.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we are currently seeking a Handyperson to join our dynamic team.  This role is suitable for someone who is experienced in a similar role, & can turn their hand to anything that needs fixing. Available for the afternoon to evening shift, across a 7 day schedule. 

What is the role all about:

• General repairs & maintenance throughout the property
• Responding to dynamic requests 
• Preventative maintenance duties  
• Painting to ensure our guest areas are 5 star for our guests
• Liaising with the operations team
• Working with a team 

• Experienced working in a similar environment
• Physically fit, with the ability to work safely at all times
• Exceptional time management
• A friendly personality and a high standard of personal presentation
• Excellent attention to detail
