Job Description

• Aware of visa procedures of sponsored guests and follow up of incoming guest.

 • Solving difficult guest situation.

 • Ensure the achievement of the highest occupancy in the Hotel at the best rate, as per hotel target budget. 

• Deal with overbooking and ensuring the best revenue for the hotel and guest satisfaction.

• Ensure that sufficient vacant rooms are available for possible Walk-in clients during the night. 

• Inspect all public areas, F&B outlets, back of the house, whenever possible take action or report to the HOD.

 • Assist in all Front of the House tasks.

• Attend to arrival of VIPs.

 • Ensure that the Front Office team welcomes the customer properly. 

• Ensure guests are attended quickly and any complaints handled tactfully and diplomatically. 

• Daily spot check vacant rooms and report to Asst. Executive Housekeeper.

• Receive and deals with verbal complaints, forward to Deputy Manager ic RDV when necessary. 

• Handle inquiries concerning room reservations, complaints etc.

• Optimise average room occupancy and average room rate.

• Follow up invoicing of no-shows by credit cards, ledger accounts after 2-day grace period.

• Spot check on all outlets on cash to ensure cash boxes are equal to cash machine readings. 

• Cross checking of guest room rates between correspondence, registration cards, and actual amount charged.

• Inspect rooms to ensure standards and quality.

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
