The Duty Engineer ensures the seamless operation and maintenance of all residences facilities and systems. This role involves overseeing daily technical operations, addressing and resolving maintenance issues promptly, and ensuring that all equipment and infrastructure meet the high standards of the brand. The Duty Engineer also collaborates with various departments to anticipate and resolve potential problems, conduct routine inspections, and manage emergency repairs. Their goal is to provide a consistently exceptional guest experience by maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment, all while adhering to the rigorous quality standards set by the residences. 

1. Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related fields). 
2. Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or residences. 
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintenance software and systems, with hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance. 
4. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications are highly desirable. 
5. Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in supervising and coordinating maintenance staff and contractors. 
6. Communication and Customer Service Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and residences' staff.
7. Flexibility and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
