Director of Spa

Welcome to Sofitel Cairo Downtown, a new destination in the heart of Cairo, combining luxury, elegance, and French art de vivre, We are seeking a visionary and goal-oriented Director of Spa to join our luxury hotel, Egypt. As the leader of our spa operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Main Duties.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize spa revenue and profitability
• Lead and inspire a team of spa professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies
• Create and manage annual budgets, controlling costs while maintaining high-quality service
• Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract and retain spa clients
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction and promote spa services
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor industry trends and implement new treatments and services to keep the spa competitive
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve spa operations
• Participate in the hotel's executive leadership team, contributing to overall business strategies

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in spa management positions
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven track record of successfully managing spa operations and driving business growth
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills
• Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team development and motivation
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Proficiency in spa management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• In-depth knowledge of spa operations, treatments, and industry trends
• Experience in the luxury hospitality industry is highly preferred
• Education or experience in fitness or therapy disciplines is a significant asset
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Fluency in English
