As Director of Sales & Marketing, you will oversee all aspects of sales performance, marketing initiatives, and brand development. With a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and results, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our success and delivering exceptional value to our customers.
Located in Melbourne’s vibrant inner-north, we are a leading conference venue and leisure destination offering contemporary accommodation, stylish dining, and versatile event spaces in the heart of Preston. With 383 guest rooms, 13 conference and event venues, and two on-site dining outlets, our property caters to both corporate and leisure clients.
Easily accessible via the 86 tram and Mernda train line—both within walking distance—and with over 400 on-site parking spaces, our property is ideally positioned. We pride ourselves on delivering professional service, memorable experiences, and flexible solutions to meet the evolving needs of our diverse clientele.
- Lead and drive the Sales function to maximise market position, revenue and business growth across Corporate, Groups, Events and key hotel segments.
- Proactively develop new business through a structured sales plan, including outreach targets, client meetings, pipeline management and conversion of high-value opportunities.
- Work closely with Revenue Management to optimise yield, manage business mix, analyse market trends and implement strategies that protect and grow market share.
- Protect and elevate the hotel’s brand presence by executing strategic marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, and e-commerce activities that drive measurable revenue.
- Develop compelling marketing content, story angles and media relationships in partnership with the Corporate PR Team to maximise the hotel’s profile across key channels.
- Deliver targeted marketing programs for Rooms, F&B, Conference & Events, ensuring campaigns are aligned to business objectives and measured on ROI.
- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality Sales & Marketing leadership
- Strong ability to proactively source, secure and grow business across multiple segments
- Expertise in revenue optimisation, forecasting and market analysis
- Confidence working with media, digital platforms and brand-driven marketing campaigns
