Job Description

This role leads the financial strategy for 23 ibis and ibis styles hotels in India & ibis New Delhi Aerocity. You will oversee a team of financial analysts, develop financial strategies, and analyze hotel performance to maximize profitability and achieve budget goals.

Job Summary

Below job summary is in addition to the existing responsibility as a Director of Finance – ibis & ibis Styles India & ibis New Delhi Aerocity.

  • Implement appropriate processes, metrics and controls to manage business risks and ensure a strong accounting & operational control environment exists to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability in the region.
  • Implements processes to provide accurate, timely and meaningful financial information to key stakeholders in the region. Drives best practice sharing among hotel finance leaders.
  • Facilitates business planning processes (operating and capital budgets, forecast, risk assessment), standard reporting processes (month end reporting, annual statement of operations, etc.), and compliance with local tax, financial, accounting regulations, and management agreements.
  • Provides direction and support to ensure compliance on balance sheet analysis/certification, hotel audits and internal control standards, P&L reviews, cash flow forecasts, technical accounting, financial systems and reporting, and financial analysis (project analysis, business cases, etc.).
  • Ensures strong owner relationships in the area by understanding the owners' perspectives & ROI expectations, proactively anticipating and addressing needs.
  • Attracts and develops diverse, high-caliber talent that makes a strong positive impact on the organization. Develop strategies for succession planning and career development.
  • Delivers financial training to ibis & ibis Styles hotel finance teams.
  • Uses technical expertise and understanding of global and local economy, laws, regulations, and tax issues and their potential business impact to devise strategies to manage financial risk and grow the business.
  • Takes a proactive role during individual and Area Team property visits providing trouble shooting for - property costs, internal controls, cross audits, pre-opening budgets and execution of key finance projects etc.
  • Pursues initiative and innovation to improve overall companies’ systems and processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.


  • Chartered Accountant (CA) Certification
  • Advanced Certification in Finance or Accounting would be an added advantage.
  • At least 10 years+ of  Experience in Financial Management.
  • Strong Analytical and Strategic Planning Skills.
  • Leadership and Team Management Experience.
