Reporting to the Banquet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and glassware according to the event plan.
• Set up buffet stations, beverage stations, and other service areas as directed.
• Greet guests and attend to their needs in a courteous and timely manner.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards and the specific event plan.
• Clear plates, glasses, and silverware as guests finish their meals.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate any issues to the event manager.
• Ensure all service areas are clean and organized.
• Work with other banquet servers, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure smooth operation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management. 
•  Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage 
•  Other duties as assigned

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous service experience an asset
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. 

Hourly Rate: $16.25 USD Gross per hour

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):         

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Constant lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs. Regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements: Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
