The B2C Pricing Analyst (internship/trainee) will be involved in defining the B2C pricing strategy and implementing cross-functional projects within Europe and North Africa.
The team is based in several countries (Paris, London, Warsaw, Hamburg) and is part of the wider Revenue Management & Business Intelligence function.
The position requires interaction with various departments (marketing, sales, DATA, Operations, Revenue Management, E-commerce, etc.) as well as good communication and synthesis skills.
Main tasks:
- Participation in defining the B2C pricing strategy: analysis of market trends, competitive benchmarks, preparation of support materials and drafting of communications to hotels, revenue managers and operational teams.
- assisting in the launch of offers & promotions and the roll-out of offers in hotel reservation systems. Monitoring participation and analysing performance.
- Participation in various projects (brand offer revamp, loyalty benefits, availability maximization, segment strategy build, impact analysis of policy changes, rate parity)
- Helping hotels to solve their pricing problems
- Support hotels in their requests to create/change rates
- Helping to carry out system audits to monitor the application of recommendations and the correct configuration of offers.
SKILLS:
Written and oral communication
Ability to work cross-functionally / good interpersonal skills
Advanced English required
Analytical and synthetic mind
Reactivity and ability to make proposals
Open-mindedness
KNOWLEDGE OF:
Business, revenue management or hospitality industry.
EXPERIENCE:
Business school / hotel school
Hotel experience desirable
Understanding of distribution, topline, e-commerce.
