Assistant Spa Manager

Job Description

The Assistant Spa Manager provides vital support to the Spa Manager in ensuring the flawless operation of the spa facility. With a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, the Assistant Spa Manager oversees the day-to-day operations, coordinates staff schedules, and maintains high service quality standards. This position entails collaborating with various departments within the hotel to create a seamless and integrated guest journey. The Assistant Spa Manager contributes to developing innovative spa treatments, assists in staff training and development, and assists in financial management to optimize revenue generation and uphold the hotel's reputation for luxury and relaxation on a global scale. 


  1. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A diploma or certification in Spa Management, Wellness, or a similar area is preferred. 
  2. Relevant Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the spa or hospitality industry is generally required, with a focus on roles involving guest service, operations, or supervision.
  3. Leadership Potential: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively, along with a strong inclination for organizational and operational tasks. 
  4. Guest Service Aptitude: A history of providing outstanding guest service, showcasing a commitment to meeting and exceeding guest expectations within a luxury environment. 
  5. Business Understanding: Familiarity with budget management, revenue optimization, and basic financial analysis, along with the ability to contribute to marketing efforts and promotions. 
  6. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential for coordinating with staff, collaborating with other hotel departments, and interacting with international guests. 
  7. Wellness Knowledge: An understanding of spa treatments, wellness concepts, and industry trends, as well as a willingness to continue learning and adapting to new developments.
