We are currently undergoing a complete transformation and enhancing all the hotel facilities to continue delivering outstanding luxury service to our guests. Scheduled to complete the changes in Spring 2024, the hotel will provide an all-encompassing experience of entertainment, leisure, dining, conferencing and unparalleled hospitality.


Job Description

As Assistant Restaurant Leader, you are support for both the Restaurant Leader and Senior Assistant Restaurant Leader. You need to embody the same values and standards of House Made Hospitality and Sofitel.

As our Assistant Restaurant Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring product and service standards are met through constant monitoring and training; correcting these where necessary.

  • Fostering an environment of guest interaction amongst the team and creating a welcoming, humble environment for our guests to enjoy.

  • Leading by example in terms of product knowledge. Food, Drinks, History of the building.

  • Ensure repeat custom through forging great relationships with guests.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of wine, spirits and cocktails

  • Good understanding of coffee operations

  • Experience in a high volume restaurant environment

  • At least 3 years experience in a CBD/ corporate environment

  • Ability to manage a team

  • Ability to understand and manage wage targets

  • Ability to use Seven Rooms
