Job Description

Are you born for the Hospitality Industry and enjoy going above and beyond to ensure our reputation for outstanding service is upheld?  We are currently looking for our next superstar to join us as our full time Assistant Food & Beverage Manager reporting directly to the Director of F&B.

To be a part of the team you will have a passion for providing quality customer service that sees our guests coming back again and again.  Importantly, you will have excellent communication skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent coffee, cocktails, food and service!

Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager with day to day operations of all Food & Beverage outlets, Conferencing as well as Room Service.
  • Maintain a constant focus on providing excellent guest experience at all times.
  • Lead, mentor and train the food & beverage team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment.
  • Assist with induction of new team members.
  • Maintaining clean and presentable F&B outlets.
  • Positively handling guest complaints.
  • Be willing to assist other departments when required.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong Food & Beverage background in a similar environment – hotel/restaurant
  • An Approved Manager’s certification and a current WA RSA certificate. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A vibrant personality that contributes to the guest experience with a 'Yes I Can' attitude
  • People focused as oppose to task focused – an ability to positively influence team members.
  • Good knowledge of MICROS (Desirable)
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft office software 
  • A passion for training and developing staff
  • An ability to demonstrate initiative and great eye for detail to maintain presentation standards
  • The flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early starts, weekends and public holidays as per business demands.
