Starting Pay Rate: $18.38 per hour + gratuities

Providing a full range of dishwashing services, ensuring an adequate and well-organized supply of clean dishes to support our Kitchen and Food & Beverage departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean all food-service utensils, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and kitchen food-preparation tools either by hand or using a commercial dishwasher
• Sort, polish, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner 
• Wear required personal protective equipment when using chemicals and store all chemicals in the appropriate location
• Empty kitchen and stewarding garbage, recycling, and compost bins
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the Stewarding area throughout shift

• Able to understand both written and spoken English and communicate effectively in English
• Previous hotel or stewarding experience an asset
• Able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift and to lift and carry items weighing up to 22 pounds / 10 kg
• Able to work in a humid, noisy, wet environment
• High attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
