ABOUT ORIENT EXPRESS SAILING YACHT
140 years after the launch of its first luxury trains, the Orient Express legend continues with the launch of the world's largest sailing ships, the Orient Express Corinthian. A revolution in maritime history, and a fabulous project that pushes back the limits of what is possible. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for qualifying and closing sales businesses together with Director of Sales across Americas market.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with sales presentations along with Directors of Sales.
- Creates proposals, accurately reviews all sales quote & contracts.
- Act as the main point of contact for all finalized and contracted sales deals– transitioning from the sales team to operations management.
- Attends department training, industry networking events and client meetings.
- Assist in identifying and surpassing monthly, quarterly and annual department goals.
- Assist the Sales Managers in managing day-to-day operations, including preparing sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Maintain and update client databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
- Prepare and distribute internal sales reports, track sales performance.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for sales contracts, agreements, and correspondence
- Support the sales team in coordinating bookings and events, ensuring all client requests are promptly addressed.
- Process contracts, client information, and booking details in the organization's management and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and clients, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups to all inquiries
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, such as brochures, sales decks, and promotional emails.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of sales-related activities and special requests
- Provide support during sales events, trade shows, and client meetings as required.
- Track and monitor client feedback, ensuring follow-up actions are taken as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
- At least 3 years of Sales Operations/Coordination. Previous experience with cruise program planning; understanding of the inner workings of cruise lines and onboard ships. Shipboard operational experiences is preferred.
- Strong customer service/people skills, including diplomacy and ability to establish winning relationships with employees, colleagues, clients and supplier/vendors.
- Ability to use creative problem-solving skills; overcoming obstacles and challenges throughout program planning stages and implementation.
- Must be adept at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the company.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Process oriented – able to develop and refine workflow processes for maximum efficiency
- Fluent in English.
