Job Description

The Sales Manager involves in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, cultivating strong relationships with clients, and maximizing revenue through negotiated contracts and group bookings. Leveraging expertise in sales and market trends, the Sales Manager identifies new business opportunities, showcases the hotel's unique offerings, and ensures exceptional guest experiences. Effective leadership and collaboration with internal teams contribute to the hotel's financial success and solidify its reputation as a luxurious and highly sought-after destination for discerning travelers. 


Qualifications

  1. Education: A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 
  2. Sales Experience: Extensive experience in sales, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry with a progressive sales experience. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  3. Luxury Hospitality Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the luxury hotel market, industry trends, and guest expectations is crucial. Familiarity with the operations, services, and amenities provided by luxury hotels, especially within the international chain, is highly desirable. 
  4. Relationship Building and Networking: The Sales Manager must possess exceptional networking and relationship-building skills. Strong connections within the luxury travel industry, corporate sectors, and travel agencies.
  5. Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals, is crucial. The Sales Manager should be adept at conducting sales presentations, negotiations, and contract management.
  6. Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and financial reports, are essential. The Sales Manager must possess strategic thinking capabilities to develop and implement effective sales strategies, identify revenue optimization opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. 
  7. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for effective interaction with clients, team members, and other hotel departments. The Sales Manager should be able to articulate the hotel's value proposition, build rapport with clients, and present ideas persuasively. 
  8. Multilingual Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous in catering to a diverse international clientele.
