We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of all mechanical and HVAC systems within the hotel. This role ensures optimal comfort for guests and colleagues, system reliability, energy efficiency, and full compliance with brand standards and local regulatory requirements. The Mechanical Supervisor leads the Technician team, manages preventive maintenance programs, and supports the Director of Engineering in delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable building operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate HVAC and mechanical systems via the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Supervise and coordinate HVAC and mechanical technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of all HVAC and mechanical systems, including chillers, ventilation systems, pumps, valves, and associated plumbing interfaces.
• Conduct routine inspections and performance checks
• Coordinate with the Director of Engineering and external contractors for testing, commissioning, upgrades, and specialized repairs.
• Ensure accurate documentation of work orders, maintenance records, and statutory inspection reports.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and consumables inventory to maintain operational readiness.
• Support HVAC-related fire and life safety activities in coordination with Security and relevant authorities.
• Train, mentor, and develop HVAC technicians on system operation, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
• Monitor energy consumption and support initiatives to improve efficiency and sustainability.

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in luxury hotels, resorts, or large-scale facilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of chillers, ventilation systems, pumps, valves, and BMS operations.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating contractors and service providers.
• Solid understanding of mechanical codes, safety regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in energy management, sustainability initiatives, and cost control is an advantage.
• Relevant technical certifications or trade qualifications preferred.
