We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Laundry Porter. As a Laundry Porter, your care and attention to detail in daily operations will help maintain the high standards of our hotel linens, contributing directly to a clean, comfortable, and memorable guest experience. 

What you will be doing:    

Reporting to the Laundry Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:   

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service  
• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards  
• Pick up soiled linen from the resort 
• Deliver JPL linens, staff uniforms and town contracts linen at scheduled times 
• Assist the Washperson and Laundry Attendants as required 
• Adhere to all LQA standards set for the department 
• Consistently uphold a professional and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the company’s established grooming policy 
• Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles 
• Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions 
• Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected  
• Other duties as assigned  

Your experience and skills include:  

• Valid Alberta driver’s license and clean abstract required 
• Previous experience driving large trucks required 
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience required. 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills 
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities 
• Highly responsible & reliable 
• Comfortable driving trucks 
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision 
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times 

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
