Housekeeping Room Attendant

Pullman & Mercure King George Square is a large vibrant 438 room twin towered hotel which acts as a sanctuary for leisure and business travellers. Located opposite King George Square, City Hall and ideally situated in the heart of Brisbane CBD the hotel has some of the largest conference spaces in Brisbane incorporating 2 ballrooms. The hotel also features the amazing and extremely popular venues of Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Cafe,Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar as well as KG Bar, Expresso Bar and an Executive Lounge.

We are seeking energetic and passionate Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our dedicated Housekeeping Team.

In this role you will work within guest rooms, ensuring each room is kept clean, tidy and immaculately presented at all times. We are seeking people who go that extra mile to provide a memorable guest experience. 

Successful applicants will be required to:

• Service and clean assigned guest rooms ensuring that rooms are perfectly presented to hotel standard.
• Ensure all service areas are fully stocked with guest amenities, advertising material
• Report all maintenance/repair requirements and lost property following correct hotel procedures
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly
• Handle all amenities, chemicals and equipment according to WHS standards.

• Are positive, friendly, and guest-oriented 
• Have a strong attention to detail with a passion for providing guests with the ultimate experience
• Are physically fit and comfortable working independently
• Well organized with strong time management skills
• Good communication skills and a high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
• The ability and flexibility to work across a seven day rotating roster, including late nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Must have full working rights in Australia
