Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Guest Services Associate (GSA) - Housekeeping to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a GSA - Housekeeping, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests, ensuring their stay is exceptional from check-in to check-out.

  • Maintain impeccable housekeeping standards in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and executive offices
  • Ensure the proper usage and security of departmental master keys and other keys to safeguard guest and hotel property
  • Consistently achieve and maintain cleanliness standards in assigned guest rooms to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction
  • Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers at all times
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces efficiently and thoroughly
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisors
  • Assist with special requests from guests and address their concerns in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols as per hotel standards and local regulations

Qualifications

  • Hotel Management Degree or Diploma (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with local health and safety regulations (preferred)
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and procedures
