Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic F&B Operation Manager to join our team in Miri, Malaysia. As a key member of our management team, you will oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maximizing profitability and efficiency.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance F&B operations across multiple venues
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage services that meet or exceed guest expectations
  • Manage and optimize inventory, costs, and labor to maximize profitability while maintaining service standards
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to develop innovative menus and promotional offerings
  • Oversee staff training and development programs to maintain service excellence
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and company policies
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures across all F&B outlets
  • Respond to and resolve guest feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes for F&B operations
  • Stay current with industry trends and implement innovative practices to maintain a competitive edge

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in senior F&B management roles
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple food and beverage outlets
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team development
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes
  • Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Demonstrated experience in menu development and food and beverage trend analysis
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
