Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Events Arabic Chef to join our culinary team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the Events Arabic Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional Arabic cuisine for various events and catering services, showcasing the rich flavors and traditions of the region.

  • Develop and execute innovative Arabic menus for a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure the highest quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with the events team to customize menus according to client preferences and dietary requirements
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food cost management, and staff supervision
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in all aspects of food preparation and storage
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on Arabic culinary techniques and traditions
  • Participate in menu tastings and client consultations to showcase our Arabic cuisine offerings
  • Stay updated on current culinary trends and incorporate them into menu development while maintaining authenticity
  • Coordinate with suppliers to source the finest ingredients for Arabic dishes

Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Arabic chef, with a focus on event catering
  • In-depth knowledge of Arabic culinary traditions and regional variations
  • Expertise in menu planning, food presentation, and plating techniques
  • Strong kitchen management and team leadership skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management and food cost control
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Up-to-date food safety certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken
  • Creativity and passion for innovating traditional Arabic cuisine
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
