This role is about more than serving food, it’s about delivering flawless, thoughtful service that enhances the guest journey from start to finish. As an Event Server, you play a key role in shaping how our guests experience both intimate moments and large celebrations. With a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and quiet professionalism, you ensure every touchpoint is polished and personalized.

Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Key Responsibilities 

Guest Connection 

• Provide warm, discreet, and professional service across banquet events.
• Anticipate guest needs and personalize each interaction with detailed menu knowledge.
• Communicate clearly with guests regarding service times, charges, and payment methods. 
• Deliver food and beverage with care and polish 

Operational Excellence 

• Set up, serve, and tear down events, following Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision. 
• Handle POS transactions and serve alcohol responsibly and accurately. 
• Restock bars, polish glassware and cutlery, and maintain tidy, organized service areas. 
• Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen and fellow servers to ensure efficient execution. 
• Complete detailed checklists and pass-on notes to support smooth transitions between shifts. 

Team & Culture 

• Support and uplift your team through consistent, thoughtful communication and quiet reliability. 
• Contribute to a culture grounded in care, detail, and authenticity. 
• Uphold Four Diamond service standards in every interaction, from back-of-house prep to front-of-house presentation.

What You Bring 

• ProServe certification required.
• Previous banquet or in-room dining experience in a luxury environment is an asset. 
• Naturally detail-oriented, professional, and composed demeanor. 
• Strong time management and organizational skills under pressure.

Physical Demands 

• Continuous standing and walking for long periods 
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25lbs / 12kg; occasional lifting up to 50lbs / 23kg
• Frequent bending, reaching and crouching.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humid kitchens, and cleaning environments 

Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
