The 25hours Hotel The Olympia is the first 25hours in Australia, located in the vibrant suburb of Paddington in Sydney. The building itself was formerly a popular cinema, which opened in 1911 and reflects its rich history throughout the guest experience.
The hotel has 109 rooms on six floors and will feature event and meeting areas, a Levantine restaurant, a street café, and a rooftop bar with a view of the Sydney City Skyline. A new era awaits at the 25hours Hotel The Olympia which will shape and transform Paddington, welcoming a vibrant and diverse team, bringing its vision to life.

Director of Finance
This is your daily contribution to turn our house into something special ...
- Manage and coordinate daily, monthly quarterly and annual reporting activities for the region.
- Organize and execute the region’s budget process and reforecast.
- Oversee the delivery of ad-hoc financial information as requested by owners and C-level staff.
- Monitor, review and provide commentary on P&L revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, cash balances and cash forecasts.
- Provide financial modeling and analysis in support of new business, cost savings, ROI, and key metrics.
- Together with the VP of Operations, you’ll coordinate the creation of the hotel budget and the assessment of the reports for the monthly finance meetings
We are looking for you – with personality and that certain something:
- Pre Opening experience would be an advantage.
- Australia experience, preferably in Sydney in a lifestyle brand, or a similar background in a premium hotel brand would be advantageous.
- Several years of professional experience in finance and controlling, ideally at a hotel or catering facility
- You’ll bring exactitude, service orientation and team spirit to your job, so that you can give your colleagues optimal support in negotiating the maze of figures
- You’re a doer – and even if you do it wrong sometimes, you openly admit it
- You’re not just bringing your abilities, but also your character
