• Performs regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, audio visual, HVAC, and other building systems
• Responds promptly to maintenance requests from guests or departments, resolving issues efficiently while maintaining guest privacy and minimal disruption
• Ensures all guest rooms, suites, public areas, and service areas are maintained in pristine condition in accordance with midscale hotel standards
• Conducts routine checks and maintains equipment such as boilers, chillers, pumps, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and elevators
• Carries out carpentry, painting, and minor construction or repair work as needed to maintain aesthetic quality and structural integrity
• Install, maintain, and repair kitchen equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and ventilation systems
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all kitchen appliances are working efficiently and safely
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues related to kitchen equipment
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance to prolong the lifespan of kitchen machinery
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all kitchen equipment operations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to schedule maintenance without disrupting service
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance

• Completion of a technical diploma or certificate in kitchen equipment maintenance, refrigeration, or a related field
• Practical experience in maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen appliances in 4 star hotels
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems related to kitchen equipment
• Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards in commercial kitchens
• Strong technical knowledge in at least three of the following: electrical, plumbing, Audio Visual, HVAC, mechanical systems, or general building maintenance
• Vocational training or certification in a relevant technical field is preferred
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance practices
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and system schematics
• Hands-on, proactive approach with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
• High level of discretion, reliability, and personal integrity
• Availability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs
• Physical ability to lift, carry, climb, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
• Well-groomed and have excellent teamwork skills
