Job Description

Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We're seeking a talented and passionate Chef De Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our culinary staff, you'll play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and restaurant standards
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and timely food delivery
  • Collaborate with the sous chef and other team members to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
  • Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes
  • Ensure proper food storage, handling, and rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team atmosphere
  • Participate in inventory management and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Continuously improve culinary skills and stay updated on industry trends and techniques

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role
  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  • Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
  • Excellent understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Outstanding teamwork and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior staff
  • Creativity and passion for developing innovative menu items
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Valid food handling certification

Additional Information

· Informs employees and supervisor about important events and news within the hotel operation.

· Establishes monthly reports according to requirements.

· Is familiar with all relevant company documentation and relevant OSMs for his/her field of responsibil-ity.
