What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Banquets, you will ensure the smooth setup and breakdown of banquet events. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service at all times
• Set up and tear down meeting and banquet rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Safely lift, move, and store tables, chairs, and staging equipment
• Maintain cleanliness in banquet rooms, hallways, storage areas, and service spaces
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or repair needs promptly
• Follow departmental procedures, hotel standards, and health & safety guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team

What You Bring

• Previous experience in guest service or a similar physical/operational role
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• High level of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
• Team player mindset with focus on guest satisfaction
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights

Physical Requirements 

• Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
• Frequent pushing, pulling, kneeling, and bending
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and ramps
• Manual dexterity and ability to carry multiple items simultaneously
