Job Description

As the Senior Chef de Partie for Garde Manger, you will be responsible for overseeing the cold kitchen section, which includes the preparation of salads, cold appetizers, and various garnishes. Your focus will be on quality, presentation, and innovation to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Team: Lead and train the Garde Manger team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of cold dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring freshness and taste.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef in creating innovative cold dishes and seasonal items that reflect current trends.
  • Quality Control: Monitor ingredient quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Stock Management: Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring optimal freshness and minimizing waste.
  • Collaboration: Work with other kitchen sections to ensure efficient service and presentation during peak times.
  • Training and Development: Support the training of junior kitchen staff in the Garde Manger section.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Previous experience as a senior Chef de Partie or in a similar role, specifically in the Garde Manger section.

Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification.

Strong attention to detail and passion for culinary excellence.

Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
Add diplomas/certifications required if needed
