We are currently looking for a Group & Events Executive to further strengthen our reactive sales team. This
person will be responsible for quoting, negotiating and securing group and event business for Mama Shelter
London.
This will be achieved through the provision of a well-organized and responsive booking service, the delivery of
the product offer, the development of customer relationships and offering a personalized and tailored event
management service.
Working closely with the Groups & Events Manager and Sales Manager, you’ll have experience in reactive
sales and thrive in a fast-paced environment, securing new business for the Hotel.
· Be the first point of contact for group and event enquiries via phone and email.
· Create proposals, contracts, pro-forma invoices and deposit payments.
· Do regular follow ups on bookings and ensure all updates are in Delphi.
· Attend or contribute data to weekly BEO revenue meetings and present updates on bookings.
· Maintain sound understanding of revenue performance and budget figures, directing business to
weaker need periods.
· Have a great understanding of our operation – and ensure that Hotel teams have impeccable
handovers with all the details they need to deliver memorable guest experiences.
· Actively contribute to a positive team culture as part of a fast paced, growing, multi-property
