Job Description

Position Summary

The F&B Sales Manager is responsible for driving food and beverage revenue across Fairmont Mumbai and Roswyn, A Morgans Originals Hotel. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships, generating catering and banquet business, increasing restaurant covers, promoting special events and dining experiences, and enhancing the visibility of all food and beverage outlets. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with strong market connections, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a passion for luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute annual and monthly sales plans to achieve F&B revenue targets.
  • Drive business for restaurants, bars, lounges, private dining, catering, weddings, social events, and corporate functions.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through corporate accounts, event planners, travel partners, luxury concierge services, and local businesses.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and client engagement.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and site inspections.

Catering & Events

  • Promote banquet facilities and catering services for weddings, conferences, corporate events, and social gatherings.
  • Work closely with clients to understand event requirements and coordinate successful execution.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and customized packages to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure seamless handover of confirmed events to operational teams.

Restaurant & Outlet Promotion

  • Increase restaurant covers and outlet revenues through strategic promotions and partnerships.
  • Develop relationships with corporate offices, residential communities, embassies, premium clubs, and lifestyle groups.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create campaigns, seasonal promotions, chef experiences, and special events.
  • Support influencer collaborations, PR activities, and local marketing initiatives.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, exhibitions, and industry functions to enhance brand visibility.
  • Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
  • Track key performance indicators including revenue, covers, conversion rates, average spend, and client retention.
  • Identify opportunities to increase profitability while maintaining luxury service standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Culinary, Restaurants, Banquets, Revenue Management, and Marketing teams.
  • Participate in menu tastings, client presentations, and promotional planning sessions.
  • Ensure all sales initiatives align with Fairmont and Morgans Originals brand standards.

 


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in hospitality sales, preferably in luxury hotels with strong F&B exposure.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of catering, banquets, restaurant operations, and luxury guest expectations.
  • Established network within Mumbai's corporate, wedding, and social event market preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
