Engineering Executive

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Engineering Executive to join our dynamic team in Kochi, India. As the Engineering Executive, you will play a crucial role in leading our engineering department, overseeing maintenance programs, and driving innovation in our operations.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering department, aligning with organizational goals and objectives
• Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance programs for various systems, including air-conditioning, electrical, refrigeration, and building maintenance
• Lead and mentor a team of engineering professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure efficient operations and optimal resource utilization
• Analyze and optimize engineering processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs
• Manage budgets and resource allocation for engineering projects and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve engineering operations and sustainability
• Prepare and present reports on department performance, project status, and key metrics to senior management
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to contracts
• Drive energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable practices within the organization

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a engineering role
• Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and projects
• Extensive knowledge of various engineering systems, maintenance programs, and industry best practices
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive innovation in engineering operations
• Proficiency in project management and budget control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience in implementing and optimizing preventive maintenance programs
