• Maintains building facilities and equipment by conducting inspections on a regular basis to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, type of operation, and maintenance needed

• Ensures adherence to applicable laws by meeting with government and insurance inspectors, and performing follow-up as required.

• Takes prompt corrective action as necessary

• Maintains a supply of inventory necessary for optimal operating efficiency by initiating purchasing orders for maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment, parts and services as required

• Monitor and control departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

• Oversee the daily hotel operations of the engineering department, including preventive and corrective maintenance

• •A license Mechanical engineer with the minimum of 5 years hotel industry experience (preferably PME)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively
• Highly organized with capacity to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects
• Proficient in computerized maintenance systems and general computer applications
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
• Proven track record in project management, CAPEX planning, and continuous improvement
• Certification in engineering or facilities management is a plus.
