Key tasks

Reporting to the Group Digital Learning Manager
AccorHotels Group, Headquarters, Talent & Culture Department (Human Resources)
Location : AccorHotels HQ – Tour Sequana, Issy les Moulineaux, Paris

Main missions & responsibilities
As a Digital Learning Project Manager, you will fully contribute to internationally spread the Group’s Digital Learning strategy.

In this regard, your main missions will be to…

1/ Embrace the Group’s strategy regarding Digital Learning.
On top of being fully convinced that Digital in general (and Digital Learning in particular) transforms the way people live, work and learn, you will need to understand and make yours the Group’s Digital Learning strategy. You will be the most determined ambassador of the strategy, continuously communicating and engaging the worldwide L&D community.

2/ Master the Group’s Digital Learning Solutions and techniques
Because we believe we need to fully understand how things works before spreading them to the rest of the world, you will have to take hands on all the solutions and techniques that are made available in the Digital Learning offer. Not only the tools and solutions, but also the process in order to get there, associated with the proper deliverables. Learning by doing is our only methodology to succeed!

3/ Transfer the skills to the L&D community
As soon as you have reached the king master level, you will be in charge of coaching your peers from the worldwide community to properly take hands on the solutions. You will initiate and accompany local initiatives, while transferring the knowledge to the teams, making sure the skills and techniques are fully understood and applied. Doing so, you will develop strong partnerships with the whole L&D Community, helping them answer their local business needs.

4/ Support the design of complex blended learning programs
Not only should you need to be an expert in designing and supporting the roll-out of digital learning bits, you will also be involved in helping design from scratch or transform existing complex blended learning programs, as a whole. Because a stand-alone digital learning object on its own doesn’t bring enough value, you will be responsible for advising the subject matter experts or sponsors to figure out the best way to deliver their knowledge, and split it into many different activities : before, during or after a face to face session – be it digital or not, synchronous or asynchronous. And of course, using as much as possible the Group’s authoring solutions.

5/ Implement the Digital Learning Governance
Because the solutions we have selected are mainly Cloud based, you will be identified as the Central Super Admin for each of them! You will therefore be responsible for granting access to the different platforms / solutions to the empowered L&D staff worldwide. You will also be in charge of always keeping a critical “external consultant” look on local productions, to ensure a high standard of quality and coherence, providing guidance and supporting local teams when needed. Finally, you will have to ensure a maximum level of mutualization, building and maintaining a centralized catalogue of digital learning objects developed worldwide, making sure the whole L&D community can benefit from local initiatives.

6/ Continuously challenge the methodologies, processes and… partnerships
Because nothing is set in stone, you will regularly challenge the existing solutions, processes and deliverables, making sure they remain as agile as possible, and answer as closely as possible the worldwide community needs. You will also challenge the nature of relationships we globally have with our listed providers and vendors, as well as the quality they deliver to the Group. Continuous improvement is the rule!

7/ Animate the worldwide L&D community around Digital Learning
Because we are a team of nearly 100 passionate people about Learning and Development, we need to continuously make sure we share the same vision of how Digital Learning can transform the way Learning is delivered to our staff. We therefore need to share our practices, experiences and expertise. We must also make
sure we share as much as possible our portfolio of listed providers. We must also share our understanding of new and emerging trends, so that we are always looking for the best solutions that answers our operations’ needs. Last but not least, we need to make sure we capture and make available every local initiative that could benefit the whole L&D community (while recognizing and valuing the owner of the initiative). By the way, this will also be in your scope of responsibilities! Sounds like a Community Manager role, right?

8/ Play an active role in managing the Group’s Learning Platform
The Group is currently in the process of deploying a worldwide Digital Platform, on which each employee will be given the opportunity to become more mobile (Talent & Acquisition and internal mobility features), to develop (Talent Management features), to learn (LMS features) and to act on a daily basis (employee app, day to day activity). In this regards, you will be in charge of supporting the L&D team, focusing on Community management, data and KPI analysis, as well as creating offers and configuring the platform.
