Key tasks

The Southern Europe Procurement and Supply Chain Division is recruiting a Category Manager with OS&E purchasing experience in Italy to join us. Based at AccorHotels headquarters in Milan, he/she will report directly to the Southern Europe OS&E Category Director, based in France. As a Country Buyer, he/she will be responsible for defining, coordinating and implementing the OS&E procurement strategy for Italian hotels. The candidate will have to manage the procurement on all categories and to be reactive to answer the hotels needs.

• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
• Market awareness anticipates market trends
• Benchmarking and price performance
• Risk Assessment
• Referencing and contractualization of suppliers and partners
• Meet the needs of customers
• Exchange and work in several communities (Corporate OS&E Southern Europe)
• Assist our business developers in the development and acquisition of internal and external customers
• Communication on the chosen solutions

Profile :
• Level of Education: Master in Procurement and, or Commerce
• Proven working experience in OS&E purchases in Italy
• Experience with B2B and B2C Ecommerce tools and pack office
• Knowledge of the Italian market
• Ability to negotiate and generate network
• Strong autonomy, ability to work alone
• Good relationship and representation of the company wtih customers and suppliers

Personal skills:
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required to bridge external and crossborder relationships
• Reactivity and adaptability are required for good efficiency
• Languages: Italian and English are required, French is a plus.
