Key tasks

Job Purpose:
Within the framework of country RM policies, is in charge to coordinate and follow-up the implementation of RM methods, processes and tools.

Main accountabilities as Leader RM:
•Accountability 1: Ensure that the RM Strategy (business mix , pricing, brand positioning of the hotels) is in place and properly deployed to achieve a business consistency in the area. Is in charge to create and leverage some synergies between hotels, ensuring that the business is properly split among them (especially in a competitive environment) and brand positioning is coherent.
•Accountability 2 : Through the organization of regular meetings with the operations, ensure that the revenue of each hotel is optimized thanks to a consistent strategy on pricing, business mix and distribution at hotel level.
•Accountability 3: Is in charge to consolidate and manage the reporting of the RM performance at the market place and area level and suggest the appropriate RM actions according to business risks and opportunities detected for the future periods (from one week to one year)
•Accountability 4: Act as a consultant for the hotel General Manager and Revenue Manager for RM technical, process and HR topics (recruitment, coaching, training)
•Accountability 5: Coordinate the appropriation and use by the hotels of RM processes, systems and tools in his perimeter.

Main accountabilities as Multi-hotel RM:
•Accountability 1: Support the hotel Management to define the hotel strategy (in terms of business mix and pricing by season and type of day) for the future periods – the initial annual forecast
•Accountability 2: Analyze the hotel(s) results and performance (average rates, occupancy rates, RevPAR, business mix…). Survey the market and competitors in terms of performance (RevPAR Index, market penetration…), pricing and availability as a basis for future tactical decisions with the Hotel(s) GMs.
•Accountability 3: Ensure an accurate and dynamic forecast for the future dates (by room and revenue by segment and day) based on the RM referenced systems recommendations and/or a daily monitoring of the data (portfolio, booking pick-up, events, calendar events).
•Accountability 4: Take daily decisions to optimize the hotel turnover. Decisions in terms of pricing, inventory management (RMLs open/close), group quotation, distribution channels... Ensure that his recommendations are implemented in reservation and reception, and that systems (PMS, TARS, RMS) are updated accordingly.
•Accountability 5: Ensure that a “RM culture” is spread in the hotel, through the animation of weekly yield meetings (gathering the GM and the key hotel managers) and regular coaching and training sessions for the hotel teams
