Essential and optional requirements

• Recepcionar hóspedes/clientes no balcão ou por telefone, identificando-os e prestando informações e esclarecimentos diversos (reservas, confirmação de passagem aérea, endereços/fones de locais, reclamações etc).
• Realizar o check-in dos hóspedes, providenciando o preenchimento de ficha, procedendo à entrega das chaves e encaminhando-os aos respectivos apartamentos.
• Realizar o check-out dos hóspedes, executando o fechamento das faturas, recebendo os pagamentos, bem como montando/organizando os respectivos processos.
• Garantir o cumprimento aos procedimentos de recepção, bem como preparar os processos e procedimentos de “Auto-Controle”.
• Mediar conflitos e intervir em situações críticas/atípicas, junto aos clientes/hóspedes.
• Alimentar o sistema com as informações de reserva dos clientes.
• Efetuar a passagem de turno, seguindo, rigorosamente, os procedimentos preestabelecidos.
• Orientar o Mensageiro, Auxiliar de Hotelaria e Telefonista.
• Realizar atendimento telefônico, seguindo os padrões da rede e da unidade.
• Manter o arquivo da área devidamente organizado.
• Executar outras atribuições correlatas de acordo com a necessidade da área.

Key tasks

You take care of the different services available to customers (reception, reservation, breakfasts, bedrooms, toilets…), participate in maintaining existing customers, may be required to handle objections and customer complaints and must always inform the Hotel manager. You participate in market place synergy by applying inter-hotel referrals, handle invoicing and taking payments, checking cash amounts and ensuring the security of funds. You may be required to close the day's accounts and check deliveries, to participate in cleaning the hotel and its surroundings according to hygiene rules and regulations, in technical maintenance of the hotel and the durability of materials and the safety of persons and belongings within the hotel.
