Key tasks

- Performs any other duties as may be assigned by your superior.
- Suggests food and beverages ~ to be well versed with menu, method of preparation and accompaniments.
- Cleans and polishes Glassware, China ware, hollowware and flatware.
- Maintains cleanliness and mise-en-place level at working station and service pantry for smooth operation.
- Replenishes supply of hand towels and other Operating equipment.
- Obtains requested items from storeroom.
- Follows correct sequence of service as outlined in the Standard Operating Manual.
- Cleans and removes from the table after service is completed.
- Ensures that product and service comply with Sofitel Guidelines
- Set up tables to standard and ensures all items necessary for service are cleaned and in proper condition. Utilizes suggestive selling techniques when taking guests orders and inputs orders into point of sales system using the established procedures.
- Fires and pick-up orders of guests from bar or kitchen.
- Produces check, receives payments, and settles checks according to established procedures.
- Ensures that assigned tables are clean and with standard set-up.
- Cross sell and up sell at least once per guest meal.
- Knowledgeable in all items in the menu and all on-going promotions.
