Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess qualifications in Food Science, Safety, Hygiene (or similar)
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position with knowledge of hotel operations.
- Excellent communicator with good verbal and written skills.
- Knowledge of local government food safety regulations.
- Solid understanding of Halal requirements.
- Able to formulate action plans and diligently follow up on deadlines.
- Must have legal permission to work in Malaysia.

Key tasks

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated food safety and hygiene expert to join our dynamic team. You will be reporting directly to the Resident Manager and working in partnership with the Director of Food and Beverage; responsible for:
- Reviewing and implementing policies and procedure in relation to food safety and hygiene to ensure that we are achieving the highest possible standards in the industry.
- Conduct regular training of F&B team members on safe food handling practices.
- Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and according to schedules.
- Work towards the achievement of a HACCP certification for the hotel
