Essential and optional requirements

• Vocational certificate or diploma in professional cuisine
• Significant cuisine experience in similar volume, quality and style of international hotel
• Management experience of 50 or more kitchen connector
• Thorough knowledge & understanding of HACCP, and practical experience in implementing HACCP standards
• Computer literate
• Languages: fluent in Vietnamese, English

Key tasks

• Supports the Executive Chef in all his/her duties
• Prepares the kitchen in line with level of activity and revised forecasts
• Actively develops, directs and coaches connectors to improve their skills and provides support for career development
• Manages the team, ensures effective communication, and manages all food production and deadlines
• Ensures a safe, efficient, professional working environment within the kitchen and related food service areas Manages kitchen administration alongside, and in the absence of Executive Chef, and all related documentation
