Essential and optional requirements

- Previous experience in reactive and proactive sales in luxury environment & hospitality industry
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar sale management role
- A passion for sales and a genuine drive to acquire new business
- The ability to lead and motivate a team with proven supervisory experience over a sales team
- The Ability to manage competing deadlines to achieve results
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- An excellent time management
- An exceptional presentation

Key tasks

Develop, sustain, maximise revenue and grow business from all target market segments to meet the budgeted revenue
- Work in conjunction with the DOSM & Revenue Manager on specific strategic and tactical marketing initiatives to achieve optimum revpar and revenue results.
- Develop a tactical approach to ensure the acquisition of major business opportunities
- Research and pursuit of new business opportunities for the hotel
- Prepare & review weekly hotel forecast and market share reports.
- Provide input into the Business Unit's annual budget
- Manage strong relationships with senior decision makers from key PCO’s, corporate accounts and travel agents
- Liaise with the Accor Sales and Marketing Team to identify and target clients.
- Lead by example, coach and support employee development
- Handle client complaints and forward on to relevant departments
