Essential and optional requirements

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• 3-5 years experience in real estate and hospitality industries
• Expertise in real estate finance, acquisitions & development
• An in-depth understanding of the hospitality sector (essential)
• Highly developed analytical & financial skills
• A demonstrable track record of securing development deals within the hotel sector
• Superior communication & presentation skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent gravitas with the ability to develop a reputation as a top leader within Accor UK
• Relationship-oriented with the ability to successfully nurture long-term relationships that yield rewards
• Highly organised and goal-oriented with the ability to drive excellent results when working alone
• The successful candidate will be confident of his/her abilities to handle multiple projects with the ambition to grow with the company
• The ability to creatively solve problems and implement new ideas.
• A desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Key tasks

The purpose of this role is to act as a key driver of development opportunities and to represent Accor at industry events.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Developing key relationships internally and externally to exploit deal flow opportunities.
• Due diligence, analysis and presentation of opportunities.
• Taking responsibility for the execution of transactions and deals including negotiations
• Identification and evaluation of business growth opportunities including management contracts and franchise agreements
• Attending and representing Accor at relevant hospitality events, maintaining a high profile within the industry;
• Monitoring relevant industry trends and news and their potential impact;
• Negotiating deal terms with owners leading to the signing of a Heads of Terms or Letter of Intent and ultimately signing of a management contract or franchise agreement
